Zelri Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Zelri ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Zelri iPhone app. Zelri is a simple on-device art studio for browsing SAMPLE exhibitions, uploading exhibits, curating Walls, and managing your studio profile. Core gallery data in this App Store build is stored locally on your device.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Zelri, we may process:
- Studio profile: studio name (nickname), optional bio, and avatar you provide.
- Device and technical information: device model, system version, app version, language, and timezone as needed for basic app operation.
- Studio content you create on this device: artwork posts, titles, stories, mediums, dimensions, visibility settings, visitor notes (including optional short voice-note audio), private Studio Notes, pins, hides, saves, Walls, drafts of unfinished exhibits, reports, and related studio lists.
- Microphone audio: only when you choose to record a short voice note on Visitor Notes. Recording uses the device microphone through standard iOS audio APIs. Voice notes are stored on your device for that studio feature. We do not use the microphone for continuous listening or background capture.
- Purchase information: StoreKit transaction identifiers and Pixels balance changes for optional in-app purchases.
- Generation inputs: Title, Story, Medium, and related text you submit when you choose the From Text exhibit path.
In this build, posts, pins, hides, saves, visitor notes (including voice-note files), Studio Notes, Walls, drafts, reports, and Pixels balances are stored on your device (local database / files).
2. Permissions and Purpose
Zelri may request:
- Camera: photograph artworks for exhibits and update your profile picture.
- Photo Library: choose existing photos for exhibits and your profile picture, and save artwork images to Photos.
- Microphone: record a short voice note on Visitor Notes when you tap record. If you deny microphone access, text visitor notes remain available; voice recording will not work.
You can change these permissions in iOS Settings. Denying a permission may limit related features; browsing the gallery remains available where possible.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide Gallery (including search by title, artist, or medium), Exhibit, Studio Notes / Visitor Notes (including optional voice notes), Walls, drafts, Me, and the Pixels store.
- Save and display your exhibits, saves, pins, Walls, drafts, and private notes on device.
- Personalize the For You feed using works you save on this device.
- Process From Text image-generation requests using the Title / Story / Medium you enter.
- Process Pixels purchases and related entitlements through Apple.
- Support report / hide workflows and basic product reliability.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Limited sharing may occur:
- With Apple for in-app purchases and platform services.
- With image-generation infrastructure solely to produce an image when you use From Text; inputs are used for that request.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect safety and rights.
5. Storage and Security
Local content (including voice-note files and drafts you save) is protected by your device and operating system security. We use commercially reasonable measures for any network transmission related to purchases or image generation. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
6. Retention
On-device studio data, including visitor voice notes and drafts, remains until you delete it, use Delete Account, or remove the app. Generation inputs are processed for the generation request and are not kept longer than needed for that purpose. Purchase records may be retained as required by Apple, billing, or law.
7. Your Choices
- Edit studio name, bio, and avatar in Me.
- Save, resume, or delete exhibit drafts from Exhibit / Me.
- Log Out or Delete Account in Me. Delete Account clears local posts, Walls, notes (including voice notes), drafts, pins, hides, files, profile, and Pixels data on the device.
- Manage Camera / Photos / Microphone permissions in iOS Settings.

8. Children
Zelri is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law. If we learn that a child's information was collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. International Processing
Image generation or purchase processing may involve infrastructure outside your country. We take reasonable safeguards as required by applicable law.
10. Third-Party Services
This build uses Apple platforms for purchases and system services, plus standard libraries for layout, image loading, and local database storage. From Text may call image-generation infrastructure only to fulfill your request.
11. Generated Content
If you use From Text, Zelri may create an exhibit image from your text inputs. You control what you exhibit. You are responsible for reviewing generated images before publishing and must not use them to infringe others' rights or to deceive others.
12. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page and/or noted in the app. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy. The Effective Date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
